About Nancy
When I was a little girl, I just enjoyed looking at the order books from the local shopping stores, like Sears and JCPenney. At the age of eight, I would fold back the pages on all the clothing that I would want to order. Of course, the clothing I wanted was for when I became an adult. All the fancy dresses, purses, jewelry to match and the most perfect high heels, I wanted it all. I would always tell my mom that I wanted to own my own clothing store, and she would always tell me, "You can do it, why not?"

In my late teens I worked at Montgomery Wards, a clothing and furniture store. I worked in the men's department, and I just enjoyed helping the customers look for clothing, as well as measure the gentlemen for their dress shirts and fancy suits. As I got older, a single mother of two, I put myself through college and worked a full-time job. Within 4 years I received my Bachelor of Science in business management degree.

I then met the love of my life and remarried. I continued to tell my mom and my husband that I wanted to own my own clothing store. My husband owns a shopping center and as a space became available, he asked, "Are you ready to start your own business?" Without hesitation I jumped right in! I already had a vision on how I wanted my business to look, from the decor, colors, furniture, atmosphere and more.

I started doing some research and 7 months later, after a full remodel and a fully stocked boutique, Golden Lifestyle Boutique was in business. The atmosphere of Golden Lifestyle Boutique tends to bring out the inner child of our customers and they walk out feeling beautiful. During this process I have learned so much about myself. Never give up, anything is possible and at the end of the day we all just want to feel beautiful.

Ta, ta, till we shop again!
